Opened in 2002 by restaurateur Peter Poulakakos (of Harry's Café & Harry's Steak) and Executive Pastry Chef Eric Bedoucha (of Bayard's, Lutece and La Grenouille) Financier Patisserie is a charming pastry shop specializing in traditional and signature French Pastries. Its name not only refers to the district in which its flagship store is located but also to a unique French pastry of the same name. The financier is a rich almond cake that is traditionally baked in the shape of a gold bar.

Take a step into any of our lovely shops and be dazzled by an overwhelming array of French special occasion cakes, individual pastries and vienoisserie that are made daily, on premises.

Financier also offers an outstanding selection of espresso, coffee and lunch items daily, consisting of fresh, made to order salads, Paninis and soups. Several Financier locations offer a hot breakfast, as well.
